ABOUT ME
Hello, I’m Pickle and I’m pretty peeved. I’ve not long been on this earth (I was born in July 2018), and I couldn’t help but notice all the things I’m not allowed to eat ... every time I find something tasty on my daily walks, my humans take it off me. I get grumpy when they do this as it always seems so unfair, but they tell me that puppies shouldn’t be eating things like bits of can, chocolate wrappers, balls of chewing gum, or old packets of super glue....apparently they are bad for me and could make me really poorly.

Several times a day, I go out for a little walk with my humans and they educate me on what I shouldn’t be picking up ... the problem is that I don't really always understand and I often forget what I can't eat !! We find loads of rubbish in the the park and on the pavements, and I am really worried that other doggies and animals may eat things they shouldn’t and get really sick. My friend Otto ate a discarded cuddly panda and the head got stuck inside him and he had to have an operation to remove it ... he really wasn’t very well, and his guardians were worried sick.

I have made a promise, from this day forward, to share with you all the stuff I pick up on my sniffy travels, and all the yucky things I have seen, with the hope that humankind becomes more mindful in their litter bug actions and that other doggy owners become more responsible, when it comes to picking up our poo and making sustainable choices for the future of doggy kind - toys, food, and all!

I really hope to hear from other doggies on my Instagram and Facebook pages about what nasty rubbish you have mistaken for tasty treats. The more of us hounds in it together, the better. We need to get the humans listening, and if we, their best friends can’t get their attention, then I fear there’s no hope for us.

Woofs, licks, sniffs, wags, and love,

Paws out.
